Northrop Grumman Mission System’s (NGMS) Maritime Land Systems & Sensors (MLSS) Division has an immediate opening for a Capture Manager Level 3 position located at our Baltimore, MD facility. The Capture Manager will be tasked with leading a Enterprise Priority Win Strategic Capture to grow the business portfolio. In addition, the Capture Manager must demonstrate understanding of capture and proposal activities needed to improve probability of win and will be responsible for the leadership of a cross functional team.
This is a leadership position with regular senior leadership interactions internally and externally, and the successful candidate must display consistent strong judgment and embody Northrop Grumman leadership behaviors. The successful candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment while fostering collaboration amongst geographically dispersed teams and customers.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Executing Win Themes and Value Propositions for the capture.
- Coordinating and collaborating with functional organizations including strategic growth, business management, contracts, global supply chain, operations and engineering & sciences.
- Executing and refining capture strategy and tactics to produce capture products such as competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis results applied to improve competitive posture.
- Developing relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships.
- Development and management of investment capture project funds, schedule, and execution.
- Meeting all security, protection of proprietary information, and risk and opportunity management processes.
- Provide day-to-day people leadership of the team and enhance employee engagement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively interact with the customer, program management, business unit and supply base executives and functional management.
- Willing and able to travel as required (minimal travel required).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of related program/capture management experience or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of related program/capture management experience.
- Experience defining proposal strategy and analyzing and shaping Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Experience building and leading a program/proposal team with a vision for success and capable of delegating responsibilities to the appropriate team members.
- Experience with DoD customers.
- Demonstrated experience with New Business/Capture Management.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer shaping and engagement strategies to establish customer intimacy and new customer relationships.
- US Citizenship.
- Active Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in EW programs and technologies.
- Knowledge and Experience with Navy Surface Warfare customer.
