As a Property and Asset Management Analyst - Level 2 or Level 3 (Principal), located in Kennedy Space Center, Fl you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
Space Launch and Missile Defense Systems (LMDS) has an opening for a Property and Asset Management Analyst – Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Kennedy Space Center, Fl and will be onsite.
In this job, you will:
Oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with the property management business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence
Performs the property outcome requirements as outlined FAR 52.245-1, Government property, and other contract related property clauses
Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes
Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management
Develop, recommend, property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as property loss, audit reports, record discrepancies, taxes, insurance
Identify problems or issues and resolve by interpreting and analyzing data and transaction history
Compile data from various property reports and provide customers with accurate deliverables
Review, develop, recommend, and implement property management policy and procedures
Create, update and maintain accountability records within property systems
Conduct internal and external property audits including Contractor Self-Assessment Audits and Subcontractor Surveillance
Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management
Support out-going shipment with creating DD 1149 forms

Basic Qualifications:
Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience in property disposition, asset management, business management/project management, program operations, inventory and/or logistics – OR – Master’s degree
Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience in property disposition, asset management, business management/project management, program operations, inventory and/or logistics– OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience in property disposition, asset management, business management/project management, program operations, inventory and/or logistics
Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in contracts administration or property asset management
Strong Understanding of property management administration principles, theories and concepts
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge or understanding of MMAS, ISO/AS9100, and SOX standards that impacts asset management
Bachelor’s degree in management or Logistics field
Familiarity with Deltek, CostPoint and Asset Smart Management System
Active DoD Security clearance
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
