Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Elkton, MD..
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Propulsion Systems & Controls Business Unit
Position Overview:
- Develop from inception, maintain and deliver a monthly integrated master plan and schedule (IMP/IMS) through completion to meet project IMS objectives
- Integrate Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), statement of Work (SOW), Deliverables, and resources into the Master Schedule in an efficient and timely manner
- Support Material Program Manager and Supply Chain in the management of program supplier base through the IMS and provide daily monitoring and status to the PM for critical path tasks
- Input EVMS requirements and reports to financial control as required.
- Support the preparation of monthly operational review packages
- Assist with reporting of Division performance for executive management
- Investigate deviations from plan and unusual results
- Participate in, lead, and support schedule reviews and metric reporting as requested by management
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in a Business or related degree
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
- High degree of organizational skills utilizing MS Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
- Knowledge of scheduling tools, MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera or Other
- Understanding of EVM (Earned Value Management) and DoD (Department of Defense) requirements
Salary Range: $58,400-$87,600
