Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences. Acquires subject knowledge by interviewing product developers, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Oversees preparation of illustrative materials, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. Conducts quality review of materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically, the ideal candidate will have 10 Years with Bachelors OR Masters with 8 years OR 14 years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Preferred Qualifications: Hands on maintenance experience with unmanned aircraft &/or ground segment systems such as Global Hawk, NATO AGS, ROK, and Japan programs are highly desirable. Experienced with using Interactive, Electronic, Technical Manuals, Operations and Maintenance Manual and the development process to include sgml/xml authoring and Customer Validation and Verification events.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
