Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer - RF/Microwave Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Job responsibilities for this role will include:
Designing, developing, and testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. This includes antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
Coordinate with supplier(s) to drive system performance.
Evaluate product performance against requirements.
Perform pre-test predictions against analytical models.
Perform RF CCA analysis.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 8 Years experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope.
Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) as a condition of continued employment on the program.
Applicable knowledge of HFSS, CST, or similar EM software to the job responsibilities listed above.
Knowledge of RF analysis methods relevant to the role.
Network Analyzer experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Coding experience in an RF Analysis setting
Experience translating analysis to design
Experience with discrimination using RF
Previous mentoring experience
Precious experience with ICBM's
Ability to obtain SCI
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
