Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Lead, with Subject Matter Expertise in Spectrum Management, in support of an emerging opportunity related to Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) and Electromagnetic Battle Management (EMBM). The work location is either Ft. Meade, MD or Annapolis, MD.
The Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Technical Lead will be responsible for all technical design and implementation guidance to meet system product requirements. Determined project goals, priorities, strategy, and tasks using Agile processes. Collaborate with software developers and DevSecOps engineers to implement requirements, develop operational application, and comply with security requirements. Assist with the development and deployment of Electromagnetic Battle Management (EMBM) software capabilities. Ensure the software meets critical Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) requirements with an emphasis on EW
This position is contingent upon Award
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of experience OR Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of experience OR a Doctorate in a STEM discipline and 4 years of experience.
- 5 or more years system implementations
- 5 or more years of experience EMSO EMS EMBM-J or similar experience
- 5 years of experience communicating complicated data, and development topics clearly to decision-making bodies and senior leadership
- Experience Working closely with stakeholders to ensure the EMBM software effectively addresses the needs of EW operation
- Provide Guidance with EW strategies, and tactics to assist the team with the development process
- Assist with keeping training materials updated in a align with requirements
- Current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance (adjudicated within the last 5 years), with ability to obtain a Top Secret /SCI (w/ Polygraph) security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM degree, and 12 years’ experience; or Master’s degree and 8 years’ experience
- Experience with EMSO, EMBM, and/or Electronic Warfare
- Experience planning, coordinating, and managing the use of the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) for a military organization
- Active Top Secret /SCI (w/ Polygraph) security clearance (or SCI eligible)
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
