We are seeking a Command and Control (C2) Software Product Line Lead to join our talented team. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
This position is contingent upon program award and/or customer funding.
Core Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
- Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
- Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
- Ensures software standards are met
Basic Qualifications
- 14 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 12 Years of relevant experience with Masters; 10 Years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience within an Agile Earned Value Management System (EVMS) construct
- Technical experience with DevSecOps
- Subcontractor management experience
- Experience with Command and Control (C2) SW (e.g. Mission operations, TT&C for SV Bus and Payload)
- Experience leading team through design milestones such as Software Item Qualification Test (SIQT), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience in establishing product lines and leveraging capabilities across different environments and user communities
- Experience with Cloud/Hybrid infrastructure/Kubernetes (K8s)
- Experience with COTS C2 SW applications, such as Kratos OpenSpace, L3Harris InControl, and OpenC3
- Experience with GEOSTAR-3 Bus and MILSATCOM Payloads
- Strong background in cybersecurity
- Successful performance managing a C2 SW Product team while working with subcontractors
- MBSE/CAMEO architecture and design knowledge
- Experience with product driven approach for standardizing SW deployment across varying environments
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
