This position is at Schriever Space Force Base, CO.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a critical component of the Missile Defense System. It enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations, observe battle developments, and manage networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability, optimizing responses to threats across all phases of flight. It is integral to all system ground and flight tests, verifying and exercising current and future missile defense capabilities.
As a Sr Principal Integration and Test Engineer, you will integrate C2BMC software into test suites, develop configurations for test events, and troubleshoot systems during these events. You will collaborate with external teams to resolve issues and support operations and sustainment.
Essential Functions:
- Lead an on-site team providing engineering support
- Develop integration plans and procedures, execute them, and analyze results
- Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and integrate system components within a test environment
- Possess detailed knowledge of Windows and Unix environments and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Prepare and execute test plans and procedures, document results, and assist in resolving software development issues
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields) from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline or related field and 3 years of experience, or a PhD with a minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, CISSP, CISA, etc.) is required to start
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree in a related STEM discipline and 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 1 year of related work experience
- Current active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security) required
- Ability to travel up to 10% to support business needs
- Experience with Systems Integration and System/Software Testing, including virtualized environments
- Proficiency with LINUX/UNIX and Windows operating systems, VMware, and shell scripting
- Understanding of the software development process and ability to perform data analysis and troubleshoot issues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active and current Top Secret clearance is highly desired
- Experience with operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot), development systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD, Aegis), and off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages is a plus
