Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Facilities Coordinator Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located on site in Palmdale, California.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for overseeing dispatch, while creating work orders for maintenance.
- Coordinates the construction, installation or rearrangement of equipment and building facilities and/or equipment and machinery maintenance for assigned area
- Maintains contact with and directs contractor representatives and assists in resolving discrepancies in design specifications
- Verifies labor expended and materials used and inspects projects for conformance to engineering standards and codes, building techniques and safety practices
- Estimates percent completion of projects and advises designated individuals of cost status
- Manages day to day tool crib stock, receipts, issues, and transfers
- Will track and maintain the supply and usage of all the equipment coming in and out of the tool crib and required work orders. The tool crib attendant gives out the tools and tracks them to make sure they are returned at the end of the day. Obtains daily deliveries and brings into accountability.
- Maintain inventory and stock database
- Agile and ability to communicate with Vendors, Leadership, and Technicians regarding inventory and other tasks
- Creating Purchase Reqs (PRs) for Tool Crib Stock
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of facilities experience
- Ability to work a 4/10 schedule, 2nd Shift (3PM - 1:30AM)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Security Clearance
- Maximo experience
- Forklift Certification
- Maintenance experience
- Facilities planning, project management, scheduling and coordinating experience
- Experience working in a fast paced environment

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
