Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Facilities Engineer or a Senior Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will schedule contractors and give provide SOW.
- Will take ownership of equipment - writing PM plans, responsible for critical spare parts
- Annual E-FMEA on assigned equipment.
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill being that this position is cross functional and engages other team members.
- Responsible for communication for machine downtime.
- Support operations IPT.
This position may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4 depending on qualification below:
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 5 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience in mentioned fields.
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
- Knowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
- Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.
Sr. Principal Facilities Engineer Level 4:
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 8 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 4 years of experience in mentioned fields.
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
- Knowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
- Troubleshooting industrial equipment for Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, Drives etc.… failures.
- Demonstrate Root Cause Corrective Action, 5 Why and 8-Disciplines problem solving method
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
- Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience.
- Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems.
- Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings.
- Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
- Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
- Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
- Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred.
