Strategic Space Systems Division has an opening for a Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist - Parts Management Integrator (Level 2 or 3), to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, California.
Essential Function Include:
Responsible for the successful scheduling, production control and manufacture of products; adding value through moving, separating, forming, machining and chemical processes. Ensures manufacture of stock products to fulfill customer requirements. Ensures manufacture of custom-engineered products that are designed, developed and manufactured in response to a specific customer request or contract. Manages, develops or carries-out production rules, production performance, information, materials, equipment and facilities, and regulatory compliance. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Direct Interface between customer, MRP, PC
Confirm production schedules/coordinate material req's
Advise management and IPTs of all part shortage visibility/status
Confirm ‘make’ material supply and demands based on MPS
Coordinate interdepartmental activity
Ensure priorities are communicated with PC-Shop Floor Control-Procurement
Determine and input Cause Codes for all CRIT 1's
Declare CRIT 1's and potential CRITs in SAP/Solumina
ICMT Support - Coordinate with MRP Make
Coordinate with Engineering for DR dispositions
Break Holding Factors to meet End item delivery schedules
Coordinate OV Processing
Release work orders for manufacturing: new WO’s, rework, and PPCM’s
Review MBOM / drawing to ensure Solumina and SAP data is correct before WO release: Program, revision level, SAP type code, effectivities, etc.
Batch parts from stores on released work orders
Firm planned orders or create and firm work orders
Analyze planned WO shortages and schedules in SAP
Responsible for all MAKE transfers: ICMR, ICMT, ICMT cost transfers
Verify exception messages in SAP
Update SAP OBOM for revision changes through CCW’s, DR’s, Material Subs / Alternative parts
Run numerous reports including late for release, all demands, orders not needed, shortages, etc.
Maintain schedule alignment (MRP / P.O.)

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications (Level 2):
Bachelor’s Degree plus 0 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Project Management or Material Requirements Planning OR High School Diploma/G.E.D plus 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Project Management or Material Requirements Planning.
Experience with SAP, ERP or MRP systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance OR SCI access
Basic Qualifications (Level 3):
Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Project Management or Material Requirements Planning OR High School Diploma/G.E.D plus 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Project Management or Material Requirements Planning.
Experience with SAP, ERP or MRP systems
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance OR SCI access
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Skills in SAP / Solumina
Active DOD TS/SCI Clearence
Ability to read drawings/EO’s
