The Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Irving, TX.
- 1st shift, 4/10s schedule Monday – Thursday
- Position is onsite, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.
The Supply Chain Technical Coordinator supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
Essential Functions:
- Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Monitor SAP aging inventory, aging Stock Transfer Orders, and aging in transit reports across international receiving points (DFW, Palmdale, El Segundo, Moss Point, San Diego)
- Monitor shipping logs and collaborate with parts management integrators to ensure on-time deliveries are met
- Attend daily/weekly status meetings
- Prepare weekly warehouse status reports and present them to the site manager
- Create hold material disposition requests and monitor for closure
- Process incoming parts (international and domestic) count/damage and put away
- Process goods receipt and Stock Transfer Orders transactions for international hardware going through the Netherlands Distribution Center
- Pull parts based on shipper quantity and need date. Package/stage pulled parts for shipment
- Loads, unloads and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific directions which may include shipping and/or receiving.
- Opens containers using hand tools; inspects, counts, and weighs materials and records information.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
- Conveys materials using a hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand
- Creates material movements in SAP/S4 HANA to support inventory location accuracy and shipping efficiencies.
- Verifies quantities and part numbers.
- Wraps and packs parts/material to send to customer sites.
- Operate company-owned vehicles to execute pick-up and delivery of parts between Northrop Grumman sites/buildings, and offsite locations at times. (potentially in the dark at times)
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and/or inventory control.
- Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) and ability to drive company-owned vehicles (potentially in the dark at times).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack.
- Prior leadership role

- Able to work autonomously and self-starter who works well with others in a highly dynamic environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds
- Good presentation skills
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Auditing capabilities
- Prior experience using SAP/HANA/ MES.
- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
