Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator (Weekend Day Shift) with a great work ethic and affable attitude to join our team to provide support to our team in our Clearfield, UT. location.
In this role, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following: Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
**This position requires a willingness to work any shift including nights/weekends and requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role.**
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Research status of material critical to production schedule and expedite into stock
- Identifies, red-tags, records, and dispose of expired material
- Ensures adequate supply of consumable material on hand by monitoring current inventory levels and expiration dates
- Interfaces with various supply chain and engineering teams (procurement, subcontracts, material program management, production control, quality, mission assurance, etc.) to direct appropriate movement of material
- Tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities.
- Provides logistic assistance to floor personnel daily
- Reviews production schedule and coordinate logistics support to ensure on time delivery of various material to the floor
- Inventories all locations of program material, update data base in SAP.
- Sorts and sustains all cabinets, racks, shelves and maintain records
- Facilitates and maintains inventory and rotation of Shelf-Life Material
- Coordinates transportation of material between various sites and locations
- Assists with receiving of incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.
- Assists with (un)packing or (un)wrapping items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
- Assists with verifying quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
This position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 2:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control and/or material transportation
- Ability to obtain an Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level
- Ability to obtain PAR
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 1-2 years of inventory experience
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., lifting, bending, sitting, pulling, pushing, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be willing and able to work Overtime and weekends as needed to meet business needs.
- Basic computer knowledge
Level 3:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control and/or material transportation
- Ability to obtain an Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level
- Ability to obtain PAR
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- 1-2 years of inventory experience
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., lifting, bending, sitting, pulling, pushing, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be willing and able to work Overtime and weekends as needed to meet business needs.
- Basic computer knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD security clearance at the Secret level
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Able to operate machinery, i.e. forklift, and pallet jacks.
- Aerospace/defense experience
- Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organization and administrative skills
- Current experience with SAP

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
