This position will be located at on-site at our Rocket Center, WV location. No remote work is available for this position.
Job Duties:
- Identify raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules
- Generate purchase requisitions to support future build needs
- Track material quality and initiate actions to extend or eliminate expiring material
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production areas
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, warehouse, and engineering personnel to ensure appropriate quantities of materials are always on hand
- Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process
- Able to plan and prioritize material resources to ensure Operations needs are met
- Able to resolve complex issues in a creative, analytical manner
- Has strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Can help identify risks and determine mitigation strategies and has a mindset of continual improvement
Basic Qualifications for Supply Chain Manufacturing Specialist (Level 2):
- This role places a strong emphasis on skills and experience. Candidates will be evaluated based on one of the following qualifications: a high school diploma or GED accompanied by at least 6 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment or a related sector; a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting or a similar field; or a master's degree with no required experience, also ideally in a manufacturing facility or a related area.
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling, production control and manufacture of products
- Experience with raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specifications and schedules
- Experience with purchase requisitions
- DoD US Secret Clearance
Salary Range 2: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
