Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Category Analytics Supply Chain Planning Analyst to support our Global Supply Chain Category Management team.
This position may support a hybrid/telecommute work arrangement however, the selected individual will need to be in a commutable local distance to one of the following NGAS facilities to support occasional onsite work:
Melbourne, FL
El Segundo, CA
Redondo Beach, CA
Palmdale, CA
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst assesses demand forecasts across categories to provide insights to category managers/category buyers. This individual will have the opportunity to be a part of team that defines, develops, implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address material risk management, Cost avoidance and Savings, and influence make/buy decisions, in support of business growth.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain compelling data visualizations to summarize and communicate findings at various organizational levels
Partner with Program Management and GSC teammates who will provide in-depth expertise of relevant data sources
Provide Data Analytics in support of the development and execution of long-term supply chain strategies.
Supports supply chain strategy development and integration of new programs and initiatives that include forecast and coordination for key commodities and suppliers, new product launches, and network redesigns.
Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes supply chain performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
Participation in multiple cross-functional activities including analyzing and aggregating supply / demand requirements.
Analyzing purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools
Participation in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling of new product line phase-ins as well as existing product line phase-outs
Analyzing lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years’ experience; master’s degree with 6 years’ experience; or 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree in
Experience must be in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Operations Project Management, or Industrial Engineering.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance and Program Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Experience in managing multiple projects
Ability to interface and collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
Understanding of Engineering requirements, production schedules and change process
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized, as well as being an Excel power user
Deep knowledge of SAP, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, CPLM, MES
Active, In-Scope, DoD Secret Security Clearance investigated within the past 6 years
Experience interacting with multifunctional roles/departments
Solid understanding of engineering/technical requirements
Tableau and Power BI familiarity
Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position. Specific salary offer for candidate selected will be commensurate with experience.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
