Distribution Category Management Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
Mission Systems Category Management’s Distribution Team is looking for you to join the Distribution Category Management Team as a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist based out of Linthicum, Maryland, reporting to the Distribution Category Manager. This position may be staffed as a hybrid role. This position is instrumental in driving the supply base to provide consistently high-quality parts on schedule to support our customers as well as being a peer leader and mentor.

This role is hybrid based out of Linthicum, MD.
What You'll get to do:
- Perform Open Order Report (OOR) management by working with suppliers to maintain accurate status of open orders through clear notes and date management in the system of record.
- Lead supplier issue management, prioritization and expediting via collaboration with impacted programs.
- Complete quarterly supplier assessments (SAMS) and run Supplier Business Reviews (SBR’s).
- Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
- Develop relationships with suppliers’ personnel to build better partnerships and explore strategies for a better future.
- Mentor peers.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or closely related field.
- US Citizenship
Preferred qualifications for Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- Experience with team collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft applications
