Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive agility and operational efficiency in Cyber Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, and Information Technology Infrastructure Engineering processes and tools.
- Attract, develop, advise, assess, promote, and retain a highly qualified engineering workforce.
- This is a dual role encompassing both functional management and technical performance.
- This position is located in Huntsville, AL with travel to company and customer sites potentially required up to 10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science Degree and at least five years of technical experience in any combination of Cyber Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, and Information Technology Infrastructure Engineering disciplines accompanied by high proficiency in technical problem solving to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.
- The candidate must have a technical performance role currently in place within the DS IBCS OU that can account for approximately 85% of their time.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills including team building and navigation, personal and career development, technical and inter-personal problem resolution, work planning and allocation.
- Current, active Secret Clearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Cyber Systems Engineering, Systems Administration, and/ or Information Technology Infrastructure Engineering activities related to the development and delivery of US Army air defense command and control systems.
- Proven technical management experience preferably in either program Military, IPT, R&D, or Advanced Systems, technology, and/ or functional environments.
- Demonstrated behavior as a driver for change and continuous improvement.
- Previous Functional Management Experience
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
