We are looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Systems Engineer based out of San Diego, CA. What You’ll get to Do:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies
- Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Comply with cyber requirements, which may include routine system checks for Antivirus, logging, and network system services
- Create and maintain user and computer accounts and modify file permissions and security access lists (DNS management, LDAP administration)
- Recommend and implement approved system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
- Solve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, DevSecOps environment
- Opportunity to travel and support system installations, test support, and maintenance for customer sites
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications for Cyber Systems Engineer:
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Software, or related STEM degree field with 1 year of experience; or 0 years experience with a Master's (MS) degree
- An additional 4 years of relevant experience/education can be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification, such as Security+ CE
- Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems, Red Hat Linux Operating System experience and/or certification for current versions
- Knowledge of Windows management
- Knowledge of Windows LDAP, VMWare, and SAN storage systems.
- Knowledge of Python and Powershell scripting.
- Red Hat, Linux+ or similar certification
- Experience with Ansible
- Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)
- Experience with creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment.
- Full Secret Clearance
- DoD 8570 Certification including a primary OS (Windows, Linux, Cisco)
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
