Northrop Grumman's Chief Information and Data Office (CIDO) is seeking a dynamic Software Development Analyst. The qualified applicant will perform software development and maintenance tasks as a member of Software Development team, providing system support for EAGLE/EPS.
The incumbent will work closely with multiple user communities. He/she will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. These software applications will be developed in a variety of technologies, including but are not limited to: Microsoft Visual Studio C# and .Net development, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, scripting languages.
Although this role does off a telecommuting arrangement, candidates do need to be in commuting distance of one of the locations listed on the posting:
- Bethpage, NY
- Redondo Beach, CA
- El Segundo, CA
- Melbourne, Florida.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Directly support resolution of all software related problems within EAGLE/EPS environments.
- Gather requirements EAGLE/EPS software support needs from business partners.
- Perform various software engineering tasks involved in the entire SW development life cycle from requirements analysis up to software maintenance.
- Support strategic planning of software tool usage through process development, automation and technology.
- Participate in routine maintenance of applications and infrastructure (apply and test patches, maintain app account/passwords, address server and application vulnerabilities, support power outages, facilities moves and other off-shift maintenance activities, etc.)
- Support various enterprise initiatives and technology and data center uplifts.
- Work with Raytheon vendor - questions, patches, versions
- Work with Customers - answer user questions and assist, patches
- Work closely with Eagle team members
- Coordinate and run biweekly Eagle meetings
- Annual license renewal process - get counts from customers, work with purchasing, obtain new license keys
- System upgrade testing - 1 or 2 a year
- Maintain Eagle documentation

Maintain utility & interface programs

Restore of End Item database data - as needed
Keep watch of servers/scheduled jobs
Occasional system database refreshes from prod to test database
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related discipline and at least 9 years of related IT or Software Development experience OR 3 Years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
- The selected candidate(s) will have proven experience with Oracle 12C databases and above, Oracle PL/SQL including packages, procedures and functions.
- Demonstrated experience C# programming
- Proven experience with Embedded SQL Programing and programming in C#
- Knowledge of DOD and MIL standards such as GEIA-STD-0007
- Must have the ability to provide occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret/SCI Security Clearance following hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret/SCI Security Clearance is nice to have.
