Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Associate System Development Analyst. This position will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Work with CPLM users and gather requirements, write use cases, champion feature development and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Working with a variety of other systems such as Cameo, MES/ERP, and more program systems to write use cases, champion feature development and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Provide user support as need to program Level 1 support and individual users.
- Review proposed architecture and provide feedback to assist in IDE/PLM digital thread integrations.
- Apply design engineering experience to digital thread integration.
- Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
- Evaluate interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system.
- Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
Essential Functions:
- Use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform professional tasks.
- Develops recommended solutions to technical problems as assigned.
- Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Works under general supervision.
- Contributes to the completion of assigned technical tasks. Failure to achieve results should be detected in supervisory oversight.
- Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience with Bachelors in Science or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering, gathering/understanding requirements, integration & test for systems
- Knowledge of PLM systems and the functionalities of design, software, and test
- Knowledge of CAD Modeling
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret)
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience with Team Center Unified or Northrop Grumman CPLM
- Experience with NX Modeling
- Experience with Electrical CAD systems (Capital, Xpeedition)
- Experience with manufacturing execution systems (i.e. Smart MES)
- Experience with CAMEO
- Experience with Middleware, such as Syndeia or eQube
- An active DoD Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
