We are looking for you to join our team as a Manager General Manufacturing 1 in San Diego, CA for 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm).
What you will get to do:
- Daily oversight of all aspects and phases of assembly and test with the manufacturing organization.
- Provide direction to employees utilizing management guidelines and general policies and procedures.
- Oversight of other assembly and test personnel.
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of all manufacturing employees.
- Ensure all products are built and tested per requirements to produce quality products.
- Drive employee efficiency to reduce cost and meet schedule requirements.
- Promote an atmosphere of engagement enabling employees to achieve their highest potential.
- Maintain employee training matrix and to ensure training is up to date within their control.
- Work closely with the Production Control team and support groups to set priorities for the production and test teams.
- Work closely with the manufacturing and test engineering team to resolve issues within the work cells and identify equipment and tooling needs.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills and ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and will be proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree with 3 or more years of experience; OR in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 9 or more years of relevant experience may be considered
- Experience working with other functions such as Production Control, Manufacturing engineering, and Quality
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
- 5 years direct leadership experience
- SAP experience
- Experience in production assembly, production test environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Continuous Improvement
- Active U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance or higher

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
