Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1) / Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2), to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Operations organization. The position will be located in Iuka, MS.
**This position requires onsite presence due to the nature of the role. **
This position is on a 3x12 weekend day shift.
What you'll get to do:
In this role you will be responsible for supporting production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. You will perform activities within the operations organization while interfacing with a variety of cross functional areas, including program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, facilities engineering and procurement.
Your duties may include producing plans that conform to 5S goals and sector initiatives and 5S focal to the manufacturing floor which includes setting up and maintaining area requirements. Responsible for tracking tools and supplies needed by operations and ensuring they are received in a timely manner. Facilitating teams consisting of multiple departments to ensure timely completion of corrective actions, return to greens, CPATS, and LDD’s. Position will also be the FOE/FOD focal at the cost center level. Being the Laison for to ensure FOE/FOD best practices are implemented and presenting charts and spreadsheets to leadership. Analyst’s will also facilitate the onboarding of new hires to ensure training requirements, company access, and IT requirements are acquired before reaching the shop floor.
The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams and interact with internal and external customers with respect to problem resolution, and process improvement. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable communicating with multiple levels of leadership. They will work in a team environment, be comfortable with presenting data, be able to perform complex professional tasks, have excellent problem-solving abilities to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, and be comfortable working with minimal supervision and guidance. Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at an Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1) or Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2) based on the qualifications outlined below.
Associate Manufacturing Analyst (Level 1)
- Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in a job related degree
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2)
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related manufacturing/analyst experience; OR Master's degree with 1 year of related manufacturing/analyst experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance, including Special Access Program within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret DoD Clearance
- 3.0/4.0 GPA
- Experience in composite and structure fabrication
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- SAP knowledge or experience
- Ability to work within MS applications i.e., MS Word, (report writing) Excel (with the ability to create, edit, log and track data in spreadsheets)
Pay Range:
Associate Manufacturing Analyst: $48,700 – $73,100
Manufacturing Analyst: $59,000 – $88,400
