We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Quality Analyst (Receiving) based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
What you will get to do:
The selected candidate will be responsible for Receiving Inspection and Production Assurance. They will be working with FOE/FOD, MRB, Corrective Actions, Customer interfaces.
Roles & Responsibilities will include the following:
- Support quality evaluations involving the processing of materials and parts into partially finished or finished deliverable products.
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Support developing and implementing quality methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Support quality system audits and evaluations, and document any deficiencies.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. (QN Processing and MRB)
- Support design development as it applies to product or process quality.
- Will work with mechanical specs.
- Perform Receipt Inspections (RI) on incoming material and parts (includes physical inspection and documentation review and acceptance)
- Perform quality control (QC) inspections in a manufacturing environment.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Quality Analyst (Receiving):
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Experience working with mechanical design requirements and specifications.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience working with materials.
Preferred Qualifications for a Principal Quality Analyst (Receiving):
- Experience using a spatial analyzer, measurement software, and CAD software.
- Experience with embedded software and electronics.
- Experience with CMM or Laser Measurement Systems.
- Experience with ISO 9000 and DCMA.
- Direct experience in Product Inspection and Receiving Inspection.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
