Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented Associate Quality Analyst to support our Linthicum, MD site as a part of the Microelectronics Center.
What You'll Get to Do:
Help facilitate process assessments
Process and adhere to AS9100 requirements
Process product testing and fabrication results to ensure compliance to customer needs
Work together with a cross functional team to validate results
Provide assurance and analyze data to prevent escape of nonconforming products.
Provides written direction for inspection/acceptance or test of product after completion of disposition instructions.
Collects and reviews product defect data contained on nonconformance forms, summarizes defect data, and publishes trend charts and/or management reports indicating defect rate trends and corrective action status and effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality, manufacturing or operations with Bachelors Degree or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality, manufacturing or operations.
Experience of manufacturing process
US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in using quality software like SAP or other ERP/QMS systems
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions
Experience with Internal or External audits related to ISO 9001/AS9100
Experience with compliance with industry regulations
Experience Nonconforming Material (NCM) control system and governing procedures and documentation
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
