You will become part of Northrop Grumman's P-3 Customs and Border Protection Program.
**This is a Service Contract Act position.
In this role, you will:
Supply technician will perform the following taskers in support of the CBP P-3 IHR Major Department, to include but not limited to:
Order all commercial and DoD MILSTRIP requirements in support of the CBP P-3 IHR Major Department in coordination with the ICP (DOD) item Analyst.
Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from point-of-origin to order placement to meet customer requirements and provide tracking of material status to the internal IHR Major Department maintenance team and the customer.
Oversee and conduct the shipping, receiving, stocking, of all CBP parts as required.
Ensure proper warehouse procedures are being followed for identification and storage of P-3 CBP parts.
Conduct the CBP P-3 annual inventory for the P-3 IHR Major Department and conduct spot checks as required.
Provide feedback and information to the procurement team for materials needed for the IHR Major Department.
Ensure the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems, administration, and related functions.
Load/Off load all incoming material to the IHR Major Warehouse.
Transport or deliver parts as required or needed.
handle supply items necessary to support tire and wheel shop which is high demand/high volume consumable parts intensive.
Supply Tech would be assigned to IHR GCS Structures to handle supply items necessary to support (tire and wheel shop is high volume consumable parts intensive) and they would also act as the supply driver between GCS and Cecil.
Maintain pre-expendable bins IAW S.O.P’s (Standing Operating Procedures) and policies
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years experience working directly in supply chain and / or logistics roles. A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1year of relevant experience may also be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with hazardous shipping and handling
Ability to drive a forklift and utilize hand tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in SAP or similar ERP systems
Forklift operation certified
Hazmat shipper qualified
4. Experience in inventory analysis, material forecasting and transportation management
A current security clearance (Secret or higher)
A current DHS background investigation
