Northrop Grumman is looking for an experienced SCA Engineering Technician 4 (Quality Flt Inspector) candidate for the Triton SES program. The candidate will provide quality support to the US Navy Triton maintenance team NAS Patuxent River Maryland. Candidate will inspect production Triton aircraft systems, equipment and parts for operation and conformance to company standards and specifications, which includes the inspection of installation and operation of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems. Audit / monitor processes to ensure contractual requirements and AS9100D standards are being met. Develops processes, procedures and maintains metrics and trend analysis for those processes and procedures. Monitors and verifies processes in accordance with quality or other control procedures. Have a basic knowledge of agile concepts. Ensures the required quality assurance programs and policies are maintained. Serves as a liaison between the company and the customer. Must be able to use MS Word, EXCEL and possess strong writing skills. Must have a working knowledge of aircraft systems and be able to read aircraft system wiring schematics and diagram, including naval publications and engineering blueprints. This position may work multiple shifts.
Basic Qualifications:
AA or technical degree with 6 years’ experience. Will accept 8 years exp. in lieu of AA degree.
Candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance experience preferably in unmanned aircraft.
A minimum of 2 years of quality inspecting and auditing experience is required.
COMNAVAIRFORINST4790.2 experience
DOD Top-Secret clearance required to start.
Experience as a Flight Inspector, Collateral duty inspector (CDI) or Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) is desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Global Hawk or Triton unmanned vehicle maintenance experience.
MES Experience
OOMA System Experience
DCMA instruction 8210.1 experience
U.S. Navy Collateral duty inspector (CDI) or Quality Assurance Representative (QAR)
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
