We are seeking an experienced and innovative Manager 3, for the Program Management Learning and Development (PM L&D) organization, to lead the design, delivery and oversight of learning programs tailored to the needs of our Program Managers. This role will focus on building and implementing robust training initiatives that align with organizational goals, enhance team capabilities, and drive continuous improvement. This leadership role is located onsite Melbourne, FL or Palmdale, CA.

The PM L&D Manager will be responsible for developing strategies, frameworks and tools that enable program managers to excel in their roles. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, as well as Program divisions, leverage industry best practices, and create a culture of learning that supports organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies to support program management excellence
- Assess training needs and design customized learning programs, including workshops, e-learning modules and mentoring initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals and ensure L&D initiates align with strategic objectives
- Monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the effectiveness of learning programs and training content
- Manage the delivery of learning solutions, ensuring high-quality experiences for participants
- Stay informed on industry trends and integrate innovate learning methodologies and technologies
- Build and lead a team to execute L&D programs, provided coaching and development for team members
- Oversee budgets, resources and timelines to deliver L&D initiatives on time and within scope
- Foster a culture of learning by promoting professional development opportunities within the organization
- Partnering with cross-sector and enterprise PM develop teams to achieve enterprise goals
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of program management experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of program management experience as defined below
- Related experience includes professional to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in L&D, training or related fields, with a focus on program management
- Must have Aerospace and Defense experience
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business need
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience developing and delivering to commitments
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Organizational development, Business Administration or a related field
- Experience working in a program management, operations or technology-driven environment
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and change management practices
- Experience in data analytics and reporting to assess learning impact
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- DoD Secret clearance
** Salary ranges will be dependent upon where the position is based and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position. Specific salary offer for candidate selected will be commensurate with experience **
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
