Northrop Grumman's Sentinel program is seeking a Technical/ Principal Technical Services Project Management Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Under the direction of the Supplier Management Team (SMT) Lead you will be tasked with subcontract execution for the On-Board Test Equipment (OBTE) Integrated Product Team (IPT).
- Act across multiple organizations to manage and track subcontract requirements across the life of the Sentinel Engineering Manufacturing and Design (EMD) phase of the Sentinel Program.
- Responsible for the execution of the several subcontracts for the OBTE IPT at SDS currently being performed across the US.
- Coordinate program management and technical meetings with SDS personnel and subcontract POCs.
- Responsible for SDS resource management and coordination supporting the subcontract (I.e. SDS Business Mgmt., SDS security, Sys. Engineering, Test, Specialties Coordination…etc.).
- Maintain / Flow down of Prime Statement of Work (SOW) and Spec Requirements as required ensuring program compliance.
- SDRL review and approval, Design action tracking closure and coordination with SDS stakeholders.
- Responsible for conveying active issue resolution and management up through AVE and Customer Channels.
- Coordination and integration of TRB/CCB packages from suppliers up through AVE and program boards.
- Facilitate, weekly subcontractor technical and program management meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
This position may be filled at a level 2 (Technical Services Project Management Specialist) or a level 3 (Principal Technical Services Project Management Specialist) depending on experience.
Basic Qualifications for a Technical Services Project Management Specialist (level 2):
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in project management, subcontract management, supply chain, engineering or business (OR a master's degree and 1+ years of relevant professional experience in project management, supply chain, engineering or business OR in lieu of a degree, 6+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered)
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications
- 1 year experience managing Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) submission, review, and disposition.
- Proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against cost and schedule.
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time.
Basic Qualifications for a Principal Technical
Services Project Management Specialist (level 3):
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management, subcontract management, supply chain, engineering or business (OR a master's degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience in project management, supply chain, engineering or business OR in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered)
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications
- 1 year Experience managing Subcontract Data Requirements List (SDRL) submission, review, and disposition.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against cost and schedule.
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
