Your Role
As the Security Governance Lead you will deliver security services that ensures ongoing compliance with the Commonwealth, Defence Framework, Australian Government security frameworks and program specific requirements.
You will also work closely with the site Security Officers to support the Governance and Assurance responsibilities along with;
Manage the NGA Security Assurance Calendar to ensure DISP compliance
Preparation of Protective Security policies, processes, and work instructions
Establish and mature reporting on Security within NGA, to NGC, the Australian Department of Defence as required by Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) membership
Highlight deficiencies in Security Registers and provide training to improve compliance
About You
With a working background in Defence Security, you will have developed a deep understanding of the DISP security reporting requirement as well as;
Interment knowledge of the DSPF, PSPF, Australian Government security frameworks.
Proven experience in compliance management and monitoring
Experience operating with in a complex policy driven environment
Strong ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships with the ability to communicate clear Security compliance requirement
The ability to maintain discretion, exercise strict confidentiality and deal with ambiguity and complexity within the organisation.
Cert IV in Security Operations/Government Security/Security Risk Management (or
equivalent)
