Northrop Grumman Aeronautical Systems sector is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) / Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst (level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is an onsite position in the Sacheon, South Korea. This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity with paid travel to location.
This position will be a long-term expatriate opportunity. This position will include Flight Arrangement(s), Household Good Shipment, HOLA, COLA and other incentives for working this assignment overseas.
Roles and Responsibilities: Develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Adhering to policies, practices, and procedures of the 32 CFR Part 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) and International Security requirements
- Manage International Visit Authorization Letter and approvals
- Direct interfacing/liaison with United States Program Office, United States Forces Korea, Republic of Korea Air Force, Republic of Korea National Security, and Northrop Grumman Program management personnel
- Under minimal supervision, administers routine aspects of the DOD or other industrial security program to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
- Shall develop and conduct security briefings and support security education programs (SETA)
- Be able to recognize when a security incident or violation has occurred.
- Be able to investigate a security incident or violation and recommend a corrective action plan
- Knowledgeable in the use of Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- Familiarity and understanding of Northrop Grumman’s SIMs program
- Requires the ability to make sound decisions while staying within compliance of DoD regulations
- Manage time effectively and be able to take independent action
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to various audiences at all levels of the organization both verbally and through written communications
- Must be well organized, willing to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize tasking, and perform in a multi-tasked and dynamic environment
- Monitors security procedures; ensures compliance with all aspects of the security program including PERSEC, Physical and administrative procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Industrial Security Analyst:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience; OR 2 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or 365, including, MS Word, MS EXCEL
- Working knowledge of the following standards/documents; 32 CFR part 117, NISP, ICDs
- Familiarity with the policies and procedures for classified document marking, protection, storage, transmittal, and destruction
- Ability to maintain/manage/control US only restricted areas storing items and equipment up to US secret level 24/7 basis
- Be familiar with US Air Force security operations and able to execute DoD level coordination with multiple military agencies within US Forces in Korea (USFK)
- Be familiar with platform oriented (RQ-4B) security enabling functions and willing to learn and adjust into a multi-cultural working environment especially working with a foreign military (ROK Air Force)
- Self-starter with minimal supervision with incidents responding and handling ability working in multiple non-US miliary bases in South Korea
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, and with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with eligibility to SCI/SAP
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements and meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travel.
Senior Principal Industrial Security Analyst:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED with at least 9 years of related experience; OR 5 plus years of experience with a bachelor's degree; OR 3 plus year of relevant experience with a Master's degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or 365, including, MS Word, MS EXCEL
- Working knowledge of the following standards/documents; 32 CFR part 117, NISP, ICDs
- Familiarity with the policies and procedures for classified document marking, protection, storage, transmittal, and destruction
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, and with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance with eligibility to SCI/SAP
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 180 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements and meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Speak, read and write Korean fluently (familiar with general Korean culture)
- COMSEC account management experience
- Skilled in providing security-relevant training and briefings
- Experience with supporting Crisis Management Team by preparing emergency action plans.
- Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
- Top Secret clearance with SAP/SCI access

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
