Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst or Principal Industrial Security Analyst. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supports the Program Security team and will handle procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
- Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
- Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
- Prepares manuals outlining regulations and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
- Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Basic Qualifications
This position may be filled at an Industrial Security Analyst level or Principal Industrial Security Analyst level
- Must have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; a Master's degree and 1 year of experience; or 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree (Principal level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience; Master's degree and 3 years; or an additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree)
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (within 6 years of last review)
- Must have an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Experience with Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products
- Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).
- Experience with SLOPACS and DISS.
- Prior Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) Experience
- Experience leading small teams
- Experience with SAP inspections and a record of Satisfactory compliance ratings
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
- Excellent writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
- Organized and efficient at time management.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
