You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Lifecycle Sustainment and Modernization Solutions (LSMS). LSMS provides sustainment support for the US Air Force B-2 Bombers, E-3 Sentry, Airborne Warning and Control System, and numerous other Government platforms. Our team members complete engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics solution efforts to solve complex obsolescence problems and ensure warfighter supportability.
Candidate will be required to perform physically demanding work, to include working in tight, restricted access quarters, climbing 20 feet ladders and standing for long periods.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical advice, training, and troubleshooting assistance to organizational level technicians and maintenance leadership for operation and repair of the aircraft mission systems
Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution
Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications
Collaborates with other teammates and has reach-back to engineering for problem analysis and resolution
Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors, and company representatives
Acts as local on-site representative to customer’s organization
Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques
Records information on maintenance data collection forms and automated systems
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution in minimum time
Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma/GED or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experiences
Candidate must have experience in the sustainment of E-3 Sentry 4045 mission computing ground and aircraft systems
Candidate must have experience using Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
Candidate must have experience using USAF technical data, such TOAP and S1000D
Candidate must have solid written and verbal skills to effectively interact with government and military counterparts, other defense contractor organizations, and other cross-functional organizations
Must be a US Citizen with an Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in military, government (e.g. aviation/equipment maintenance, aircraft operations)
Experience with equipment logistics, technical manuals, overseeing parts ordering system, quality control inspections
Experience with use and interpretation of technical and engineering data such as S1000D to diagnose malfunctions and identify systemic performance problems on E-3 4045 aircraft and ground systems
Experience with USAF technical data Recommended Change system Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS)
Experience maintaining software and hardware on networking and Information Technology systems
Certified as a DoD Information Assurance Level (II) technician. DoD IA Level II certification includes A+, Network+, SSCP, Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC or ability to obtain certification following employment
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
