Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Configuration Analyst. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What you will get to do:
This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting, familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines, and conducting configuration audits
- Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes
- Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance
- Plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives
- Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested
- Represent your organization as a prime contact on your assigned contract or project
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 Years of experience; 3 Years of experience with Masters degree; or 0 years of experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of Configuration Management/Data Management may be considered in lieu of degree
- US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 4 years of direct Configuration Management or Data Management experience in a DoD environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of CM/DM experience
- NG CPLM or Siemens Teamcenter Experience
- CAMEO
- DOORs
- Siemens NX and/or Capital Experience
- JIRA, SharePoint Experience
- ICBM Weapon Systems Experience
- Familiarity with EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK-61

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
