Northrop Grumman’s Fleet Deployment Training Program Support (FDTPS) is seeking a Data Analyst at the Afloat Training Group in Norfolk, Virginia.
Job Duties:
- Review program data, evaluate program plans/changes and assist in the preparation of documents with various senior levels with military and civilian stakeholders
- Analyze program information, strategize plans, produce quality analytic work in the form of white papers, briefs, and executive correspondence and effectively present the results in a clear and concise manner when required
- Conduct training data analysis utilizing the TORIS database to support data calls from TYCOM and USFF and maintain historical data for trend/performance analysis
- Develop, collect, monitor and analyze Unit Level Training (ULT) metrics; track ULT manpower data utilizing Master Scheduling Program (MSP) for trend analysis
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree 3 years' experience OR a master’s degree and 1 year of experience; OR a High School diploma / Equivalent with 7 experience maybe be considered in lieu of degree r
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Navy training operations
-Experience conducting fleet training analysis/assessment
- Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience as an operator/technician with MSP, TORIS and DRRS-N
- Experience as a Navy Training Officer or as part of command training organization
