Many of the systems and capabilities that Northrop Grumman delivers to the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense are helping them achieve their sustainability goals. Navigation systems, power systems and multifunction sensors are all helping our customer operate more efficiently and sustainably.

VERITAS and Our Employee Resource Groups
Northrop Grumman is proud to have thirteen Employee Resource Groups that offer opportunities for all employees to connect across the company. These groups are inclusive of all employees, offering benefits to members and serving as advocacy groups within our local communities. Veterans, Employees and Reservists Inspired to Act and Serve (VERITAS), one of our ERG’s, is an all inclusive resource group committed to recognizing and supporting active duty, Reserve, National Guard and veterans through community outreach and networking programs aligned with company and sector-wide business objectives. We aim to support the transition of military veterans, provide a supportive environment for employees who have family members deployed and recognize and honor those who currently serve, those who have formerly served and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Nation.

Northrop Grumman’s navigation technology provides optimal situational awareness for ship watch officers in carrying out their missions.
Power & Energy
Scalable energy storage and management systems are important for modern naval warfare. Northrop Grumman’s Integrated Power Solution is flexible and adaptable – utilizing modular technologies to enable rapid, affordable upgrades on the DDG(X) platform.
Maritime Electronic Warfare
The Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) protects surface ships from anti-ship missiles, providing early detection, signal analysis and threat warning. SEWIP Block 3 adds non-kinetic electronic attack to the SLQ-32(V) EW system, and is a cornerstone capability that will meet the urgent operational needs of the Fleet.
Uncrewed Systems
From uncrewed aerial vehicles and underwater mine hunting systems to defense readiness targets, Northrop Grumman is a leader in autonomous systems. Our newest uncrewed underwater vehicle, Manta Ray, will go on long-duration, long-range missions in challenging ocean environments without need for on-site human logistics support.

From fuselage parts to engine components, Northrop Grumman's lightweight, high-strength composite materials are reducing the weight, improving the performance and lowering the lifecycle cost of commercial aircraft. We support key military aircraft including the F-35.
